Welcome post
Hello! If you are looking at this page, you are most probably related to 3E1 and have been invited by me. :) Well, I have always want to document what we do in 3E1 for all to see. I'm sure everyone in 3E1 agrees. Fun moments should be captured for eternity right?
I'll start off today's post with some activities that we've been a part of in the last 6 months.
Here's some pictures taken at the beginning of the year while we were in the Science Eco Garden of DQPS. We were doing an activity on classifications and were in the garden collecting items that we wanted to classify.
Chinese New Year 2011! Wow, the time really flew by and before we knew it, it was February. Happy New Year everyone. :)
Then came Total Defence Day. We conducted an IPP (In Place Protection) exercise in school. Wow, our classroom was really hot and stuffy. But we had fun! Lots and lots of fun, covering up every gap in our classroom. Recess was also different, as we ate rations and sweet potato. Haha! Some of you hated the sweet potato.
Ah! Time for our Art lesson. Still remember this lesson? We were playing with water colours. It was a good lesson. We drew tiger stripes, leaves, tortoise patterns and feathers! Stay tuned, I'll post some of our pottery lesson photos soon.
Sports Day! We left the comforts of our classroom and spent a day in the Sun! Several of you brought back medals. Congrats!
Then there was the English Fortnight Celebrations. We teamed up with others from the level to put up a Reader's Theater performance. Well done! Click Clack Moooooooo...........
Some of our classmates spent their June holidays in a different way. We took part in Lego's Build the Change Competition. Although we didn't win, it was a fun experience!
It's not always play in 3E1. We do serious work too. Here's a writing activity we did in Term 2. Group writing of Goldilock's Story with a twist!
Last Saturday, our school celebrated our 30th Anniversary and had a Spectacular Open House! Some of our classmates were performing on that day. Can you find them among all the performers?
Alright, that's all for today. Sorry for the long post. I was trying to do some catch up. Future posts will definitely be much shorter as I'll post as we continue on our journey. There're so many things that we have done together. These pictures do no justice. Our memories are the most valuable. I'll leave you with our group photo taken at the swimming pool! Can you find all the water babies in 3E1?
