It's class BBQ day!

Finally, the day we've all been waiting for. Last day of school and class BBQ day. First, Thanks to Peter and mom for getting us the place, pit and for providing us with so much drinks and fruit!

First, we had some fun in the pool. As usual, Dion Yi is the chief provider of laughs.

With the fire going, we quickly filled our stomachs.

Then the cake arrived. We were surprised by what lay in the cake box! Wow wow wow! Everyone wanted to take a photo with it. :)

Here's a close up. Of course, we have Shanne and mommy to thank for this cake. It was so beautiful. We couldn't bear to eat it. More pictures...

We finally made up our minds. One last photo, before digging into it. Oh yes, for those of you who missed the party, the cake tasted as nice as it looked. Blueberry, yum yum!

Wait, this isn't the end. We must thank Hui Jing and mommy for the very delicious and authentic glutinous rice mango dessert. Sorry, no photos. The dessert disappeared too fast for any photos. Burppppp...

Class BBQ poster

The year is swiftly coming to an end. Peter and I will be hosting a party at his home. Here are the details. I've put up the poster on our classroom noticeboard. Check it out!

I've placed an order for chicken wings, satay and otah. Not to worry, all the food I've ordered will be on me! Please feel free to bring other food and drinks. However, remember our Muslim friends and prepare only halal food. Ok? :)

Learning Journey to Marina Barrage

Being Singapore's biggest reservoir, how can we not pay it a visit? The gallery walk was an eye opening experience. It is wonderful to learn about what our country is doing to help us attain self sufficiency of our water needs.  At the same time, it was also a time to relax after the exams. :)

After lots of tugging and pulling, we finally got the kite into the air!
A giant jellyfish was floating around when we were there. It is huge!
